Abbey Coogan is a Brooklyn-based artist interested in using and exploring the things people leave behind. She graduated with her BFA in General Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in August of 2024. Her work focuses on psychological explorations of the body and interiors, through her miniatures, paintings, drawings, and collages. She has shown work through the Shoreline Art Gallery, MxCC Gallery, the Sheila & Richard Riggs Gallery, and the Fanny Fox Decker Gallery. She is currently based in Brooklyn, New York, where she resides with her partner and their dog.
